Does the embryoscope help ?

Embryo scope is that helping our patients?

Many of our patients are asking us: ”Are you using the embryo scope in the clinic ?”

The reply is always. It is important to understand that you should not implement a new method without a reasonable technical and safety evaluation of the procedure including analyses of the benefit for the patients, before taking it into the treatment regime.

During this analysis we found several scientific studies showing, that the embryo scope, although providing nice videos of the developing embryo, does not improve the pregnancy rate for the routine use in the lab.

This finding is now again supported by a large meta-analysis including several hundreds of patients. A Canadian study supports this.

The embryo scope provide excellent culture conditions for the embryos however is this already in place in you lab we find that the embryo scope is only making it more complicated and more expensive for the patient.
