The corona virus change our work but not for the patients

What does Copenhagen Fertility do in the Corona virus situation?

Following the new situation from the Danish Prime Minister’s speech here on Wednesday evening, we will cancel internal seminars and reduce all other meetings for the staff.

At the clinic we make sure there is no waiting time in the waiting room. We switch many initial conversations to phone consultations, Skype and Face Time conversations.

We look after our staff and pay close attention to no one meeting at work with signs of illness. Also, everyone is welcome to call and get further explanations for the actions taken.

We also try to keep staff in reserve who can take over in case of illness, so that the risk of the clinic closing is minimal.

In the midst of all this, it is important to say that from what we know already, - the Corona virus can not affect the foetus and that pregnant women often have a very mild course of infection.

We therefore, as the Prime Minister urges us, continue with our work, but think about the infection pathways for the Corona virus to avoid further spreading of the disease.

We do not give hand as greeting and allowing more time in-between the patient consultation.

If you want more information or are nervous, feel free to call and have a talk about your particular situation.

We have helped to deliver 11.045 children since 1983

We are open 365 days a year
