  • Age and fertility Af Andreas , 16-06-2009 00:26:38
When is the age declining in a normal women and man, and why is fertility problems starting to gain more interest ?
  • svend lindenberg: (16-06-2009 00:29:58)
In the normal population womens fertility start to decline already in the mid 20. However the dramatical decrease is first seen after 36 yrs of age. Thus a women being 40 yrs of age has less tahn half of the fertility shed had when shes was 20 yrs old. This is also the problem in aging and the desire to have a baby. Women in Denmark tend to be older now (30 yrs) compared to erlier when the give birth to their first child. Therefore more and more women ar seeking fertility treatment then before.
Concerning the man the real decline in fertility seems to be much later
