In case of a 41 year old woman, after how many days are the fertilized eggs normally returned to the uterus? I have heard that after for example 3 days there are better chances to judge the development of the eggs than after only 2 days.Thank you very much for your answer in advance!

yes and no, it all depends on the number of eggs retrived. If only one egg is fertilized and start develop, there is no reason to delay the embryo transfer, however are there many embryoes, a delayed transfer even to the 5th day migt be beneficial, as it enables the doctor to choose the best developing embryos for transfer
